Chad has had a love for racing from a very young age when he found out that one of his friend's dad had raced in the Baja 1000. That was the defining moment for Chad and he vowed that one day he too would race in the Baja 1000.

Chad joined Charlie and McDowell Motorsports several years ago. After many races and some broken truck parts, the team of Charlie and Chad have honed their teamwork and have moved up in class.

Chad works in the demolition and construction business, is married, and has a young son who watches from the sidelines and helps carry daddy's gloves.
